Soha Editions

Home

Craftsmanship often carries the story of the place it comes from. For Soha Editions, that connection to origin was central to the brand's identity. The objective was to create a visual language that celebrated handcrafted home décor while reflecting the cultural and natural heritage of Chhattisgarh, giving the brand a distinct sense of place without limiting its contemporary appeal.

The identity is anchored by a symbol that brings together three meaningful elements. The Sal tree, the state tree of Chhattisgarh, represents strength, longevity, and nature. Embedded within it is the outline of Raipur, acknowledging the brand's roots, while the overall form subtly evokes the silhouette of a home, reinforcing the world of interior living and handcrafted décor. Together, these elements create a mark that feels both symbolic and enduring.

A palette of earthy browns reinforces the materiality and authenticity associated with artisanal craftsmanship. The gradual transition between lighter and darker tones introduces depth while communicating warmth, dependability, and natural beauty. Rich black provides contrast and refinement, while copper accents add a subtle sense of luxury, echoing the finishes often found in handcrafted objects and interior spaces.

Designed to translate seamlessly across packaging, stationery, digital platforms, and product applications, the identity provides a cohesive foundation for the brand as it grows. Every element contributes to a visual system that reflects Soha Editions' commitment to thoughtful craftsmanship, regional heritage, and timeless design.
