Cafe North

Café North sits at the intersection of movement and pause, operating round the clock and serving people who are constantly in transit. Because of its unique location near major transport points, the café needed a brand that could offer instant comfort to travellers at any hour. Instead of creating something overly busy or overly bold, we focused on building an identity that signals calm, familiarity, and dependability the moment someone approaches the space.

To achieve this, we designed the visual identity around soft forms, gentle curves, and a colour palette that feels grounding. The muted greens and warm neutrals were chosen to evoke the quiet of early mornings and the ease of a late-night stop - tones that help Café North feel like a small sanctuary amid the rush of travel. The logo combines a refined elegance with an approachable style, giving the brand a personality that works just as well on a takeaway cup as it does on signage or staff uniforms.

After establishing the core identity, we expanded the system across all touchpoints. Packaging, merchandise, apparel, and exterior branding were kept intentionally clean and cohesive, ensuring Café North remains instantly recognisable whether you’re grabbing your first coffee of the day or a midnight snack before your next connection. The result is a brand that adapts effortlessly to the café’s 24-hour rhythm - consistent, comforting, and always ready for whoever walks through the door.
